OPENING
Offering the basic principals and practices of opening.

Introduction, here we will explain the benefits of benefits of being “grounded and open”. How the two simple practices of “Stopping & Dropping” and “Opening & Smiling” are applied to our daily lives. Also we look at what the Sage and the Scientist say about the benefits of the simple smile.  

THE PRINCIPAL OF BEING OPEN
“Openness allows life to flow right through us” ross  

What it is.
It is that which cares.
It is opening with a caring intention to accept/honour what is unpleasant in the body, heart and mind.

What it is not.
It is not opening to unpleasant experiences in the body, heart or mind so that they will go away.

 

PRACTICES OF OPENING:
Practice-1 “Opening and Smiling”

Body Movement
Purpose: Opening movements honour the body and restore its energy.
Parctice-1 “Stand & Stretch”

Heart Emotion
Purpose: To bathe the entire body with the ‘happy hormones

Mental Intention
Purpose: Strengthens the intention to bringing love and compassion to our self and others

Practice 1- “may the mind smile”

2nd Meditation- Ross will invite us to learn how open to the six senses and rest. To bring the healing energy of a “simple smile” to the sensations of the body, the emotions of the heart and the thoughts of the mind.
